Die Gewinner eines der begehrtesten Preise der internationalen Computer- und Videospielbranche stehen fest.

Den begehrten Best of gamescom award konnte sich in diesem Jahr der Sony-Titel „Dreams“ sichern. Der zugleich mächtige als auch zugängliche Spiele-Baukasten vom britischen Entwickler Media Molecule überzeugte die Jury darüber hinaus in den Kategorien Best Sony PlayStation 4 Game und Most Original Game. Die Fans der gamescom wählten „Borderlands 3“ zu ihrem am heißesten begehrten Titel des Jahres. Der 2K-Titel wurde zudem von der Jury als Best Multiplayer Game ausgezeichnet.
