Baldur’s Gate 3 hat bei den Game Awards den Hauptpreis gewonnen. Das Rollenspiel von Larian ist laut Jury und Publikum Spiel des Jahres 2023.  Baldur’s Gate 3 konnte sich gegen die Nominierten Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Bros. Wonder und The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom durchsetzen.

Neben dem Hauptpreis und dem Publikums-Award gewann Baldur’s Gate 3 auch den Preis für den Besten Community-Support, den Preis für das Beste Rollenspiel und den Preis für das Beste Multiplayer-Spiel (wegen des optionalen Koop-Modus).
